On Monday we had declared WHITE VIN JAN at Hamilton. She raced in touch and was ridden over two furlongs out. She made some headway, chasing the winner inside the final furlong, but could make no impression on the winner. It was another decent effort from the filly who always gives her all.
Today we return to the action at Newcastle with the recent Leicester runner MEZAJY, who showed promise on his debut to finish fourth. He appears to have come on for that run and hopefully should go close.
On Friday we start the afternoon off at Saint-Cloud where JARGON is hoping to get back on track after a below par performance at Doncaster. He worked nicely this morning under Jamie Spencer and hopefully we have found a race he can be competitive in. At Ascot BIG ORANGE takes his chance in the fourteen furlong listed event. Already a winner in a similar contest at Chester he appears in great shape and hopefully he can keep his good run in this sort of company going although it does look quite a tough little contest. At Wolverhampton we are hoping VALEN can get off the mark. She ran well at the track on her last start when slightly hampered and hopefully she can put in another good display here.
Today the horses worked on the watered gallop
