On Monday we narrowly missed out with WHITE VIN JAN at Leicester. She raced along in a midfield position and was asked for her effort over two furlongs out. She raced with the leader well over one furlong out and had every chance until she could find no extra in the closing strides. It was another good effort from the filly and she is in again on Monday at Hamilton, which could just be the next spot for her.
On Tuesday we headed to Newcastle with ZACYNTHUS. He kept on creditably having tried to take an early lead. The ground went against him as he would have appreciated much faster ground. We rounded the day off at Lingfield where SALTWATER CREEK took her chance. She looked to take a false step at the two furlong marker and lost her position before keeping on again in the straight. She appears to like the all weather and on this evidence she looked to be slightly unlucky not to have finished higher up the field.
This evening we head to Kempton where we are hoping for a decent effort from GRAND MEISTER. He is certainly better than he has shown so far and is certainly capable of winning again.
Tomorrow we introduce a nice two-year-old colt making his racecourse debut called MY STRATEGY. He has been doing some nice work at home and although it is a tough ask to win a Newmarket maiden we expect him to run with encouragement.
On Friday we head to Haydock with BIPARTISAN who gave a nice display on her racecourse debut at Yarmouth. She looks to have come on for the run and expect a good effort from her. Later on the card GALIZZI takes his chance and he heads into the race in good form after some nice gallops at home. He is certainly a horse with ability and appears to keep improving. He should run a nice race.
