We were all devastated with the loss of WIGMORE HALL on Saturday. Sadly he injured himself and could not be saved. It is a great blow to our yard as he has been our flag bearer for a good few seasons now. Everyone is really saddened for the loss especially Gill our travelling head girl who got to travel the world with him and did such a fantastic job. Our only other runner at the track was JARGON who raced prominently early on. He was soon ridden and weakening when he did not appear to find much room over one furlong out. We expected a better effort from the horse and we will see how he takes the race before making further plans. At Lingfield GRACELAND was always close to the pace and had her chance, but was made to look slightly one-paced by the winner. She should win races and will hopefully go in next time. We rounded things off with ZACYNTHUS. He dwelt slightly at the start and soon recovered to lead after travelling a furlong. He was headed and ridden staying on at the same pace inside final furlong.

On Monday we had declared DRASTIC ART to run at Wolverhampton. She started slowly and always looked outpaced. She is a real sweet filly who will hopefully find her grade.

On Tuesday our only runner was BIPARTISAN at Yarmouth. She raced in touch in a midfield position and was ridden to chase the leaders. She looked to get tired and stayed on at the same pace inside the final furlong. She is sure to come on for the run and I am sure will be seen to better effect next time now she has some experience under her belt.

We have no runners today, but return to the action starting the afternoon off with MANTOU at Yarmouth. He certainly did not run his race last time at Haydock and hopefully he can put in a better display here. At Kempton we start the evening of with MISSISSIPPI QUEEN who is hoping to make her mark in the maiden. This will be her third run and then she is eligible for handicap mark where hopefully she can then be competitive in her grade. We round off the meeting with INSTANT KARMA who has taken a while to come to hand. He looks to be improving in his work and will certainly benefit for the run.

Today the horses worked on the Watered Gallop
