We were delighted to get another winner on the board on Sunday, which came courtesy of HOUSE EDGE at Musselburgh. He had made a promising debut over a mile at Sandown and he looked to have built on that. He looked to appreciate the longer trip here, pulling nicely clear inside the final furlong. He is bred to get further, has plenty of scope and looks a nice middle-distance prospect for next season.
Today we have seen a nice effort from SAILING HOME who was making her racecourse debut at Nottingham. She ran a encouraging race and should come on a bundle for the run. It looked quite a nice little contest. GIRLS TALK was also in the race and she was a bit of a madam depositing poor Louis Steward before the race. She travelled nicely early on and when asked for her effort she did not quicken straight away, running on again late on. She looks as though she is going to appreciate further and will be much better next season with another winter under her belt..
Tomorrow we introduce a nice filly to the track called GEETANJALI. She has been working nicely at home and we expect a nice introductory run from her.
On Friday we start the afternoon off at Ascot where TAUREAN STAR takes his chance. He went nicely in his work this morning and hopefully he can find some of his early season form. We round of the day with MERLIN who has had a fantastic season and it would be great to get another win on the board with him.
