On Sunday Jive Talking failed to get into her race at Brighton. She pulled hard early on and looked to be under pressure over a furlong from home when asked for her effort. She could find no extra and weakened inside the final furlong.
Tomorrow we head to Chelmsford with ICE DANCING. She won nicely at Wolverhampton on her last start and has looked a different filly on the all- weather surfaces. Hopefully she can recreate that effort again.
On Friday we start the afternoon off at Ascot where IMMORTAL ROMANCE takes his chance. He ran with promise on his first start and then did not run as well as expected at Windsor on his next outing. He appears in good form at home and will hopefully keep progressing. Later on the card FIRE BRIGADE makes a re-appearance after his win at Haydock and he worked nicely this morning. With conditions in his favour hopefully he can be competitive again. We round off the afternoon at the track with SACRED ACT who was purchased at the July Sales. He has done nothing but please since he arrived and we are expecting a nice run from him. Later in the day we head to Musselburgh with the two runners. ARABIAN JAZZ is very unlucky to remain a maiden after some consistent efforts. She worked nicely this morning on the peat moss and looks in tremendous form. We round off the day with recent Thirsk winner ARMAGNAC who is hoping to keep his good run going. He was given a good ride by Tristan Price and hopefully both horse and jockey will be on top form again here.
Today the horses worked on the peat moss
