On Thursday we started the day off at Yarmouth with FREEBE ROCKS. He raced prominently and was ridden over two furlongs. He was asked for his effort and weakened inside the final furlong. He is now eligible for nurseries and hopefully we will be able to find a suitable opportunity for him. He might benefit from being gelded.

At Sandown DREAM MACHINE ran another good race to finish in the frame. He was always well positioned and when the leading horse dropped away he found himself in front a bit sooner that we would have liked. It was a good run and the winner looks a well handicapped horse.

Yesterday we started the day off at Ascot with GRACELAND. She took a keen hold when held up in a midfield position. When asked for her effort she did not appear to get the strongest of rides and had to settle for third. She is definitely a filly with talent and we will have to look for a race where Louis Steward can ride her as he does so well settling this filly. Later on the Haydock card we were delighted to see FIRE BRIGADE go in again scoring his four career win. He appeared to put the race to bed very quickly once asked for his effort and will hopefully be a major contender in some of the top mile handicaps. He is entered at Salisbury and Wolverhampton next week and we will see how he comes out of the race before deciding if he takes his chance under a six pound penalty.
On Monday we start the day off at Ripon with THEGLASGOWWARRIOR. He is unlucky to remain a maiden after some consistent efforts and hopefully we have a found a race that he will be competitive in. The sheepskin cheek pieces should help him and he deserves to get a bracket by his name. At Windsor we start the evening off with IMMORTAL ROMANCE. Third on his debut at Yarmouth, he looks to have come on for that run and we hope that he will competitive. We round off the day with BECUNA who was not suited by underfoot conditions on her last start at Sandown and with things back in her favour we expect her to be competitive.
