On Monday JIVE TALKING put up another good, consistent display at Windsor. A winner at Beverley 16 days beforehand, she had to make up plenty of ground from three furlongs out in a tactical run race and reached a close second under a strong drive.
Jive Talking having well deserved roll after her run at Windsor
We have no runners today after TAPER TANTRUM was withdrawn due to the ground and then we return back to the action tomorrow starting the day at Sandown with BECUNA. She seems to be progressing and hopefully will give a good account of herself on her handicap debut. In the evening we head to Newbury where SALAMAH takes her chance. She has come out of the Ascot race well and appears in good shape. She has good form from her previous runs and hopefully we have found and ideal opportunity for her.
On Friday we head to Newmarket with the four declared runners. We start the evening off with two runners in the maiden. FREEBE ROCKS looks to have come on for his Ascot run where he looked to get tired. He has been working better at home and we think he will show that improvement here. CAN’T EXPLAIN is a nice two-year-old filly that has only recently arrived in. She looks progressive and although she will probably need to run, she should keep improving. Later on the card JOE’S SPIRIT takes his chance. He has been given top weight and so he will be helped by Cameron Nobles seven pound claim. He ran well on his last start at Ascot and looks to be back in good form. We round off the meeting with MISS FAY who is hoping to break her maiden tag. Hopefully we have found a race she can be competitive in and the visors will help.
