Sunday 20th November

November 20, 2016

This week we only had runners on the Wednesday having declared three at Kempton. FIRE BRIGADE was looking to score again after his cosy win at Chelmsford the week previous. He looked to have been brought with a perfectly timed challenge travelling strongly over a furlong out. He was ridden and led for a stride close home and unfortunately got caught on the line. He might just appreciate some sort of headgear to keep both his mind on the job and seeing out his effort. Later on the card DREAM MACHINE was held up towards the rear and made some progress when asked for his effort. He soon looked to be held when entering the final furlong. He looks as though he will appreciate a break and hopefully will strengthen and furnish over the winter. We rounded the evening off with KISSINGER. He looked to take a keen hold in mid-division, when not finding much room and when asked for his effort looked one paced. It certainly was a better effort than his debut run back in July at Chepstow and hopefully he will come on for it.

We have entries later in the week with JIVE TALKING and CHELABELLA entered, but at this stage I am not sure if they are definite runners.
