We returned to the action this afternoon at Catterick with BONHOMIE. She jumped lovely from the stalls and settled well at the front of the field. She possibly mounted her challenge a bit early and looked to get tired in the final furlong. It was a good effort from the filly and she is sure to come on for the run. Later in the afternoon we headed to Epsom with MACHINE LEARNER. He was dropped out off the pace and when asked for his effort he unfortunately met some trouble which possibly stopped his momentum and then he ran on at the end to finish third. He certainly would have been much closer had he got a clearer passage. This evening we head to Lingfield with STETCHWORTH PARK. He goes into the race in good form and on the basis of his last start, you would certainly be hopeful. He looks a progressive type who will hopefully keep improving.
Tomorrow THE MAJOR heads to Beverley to take his chance. He worked nicely on Saturday under Louis Steward who takes the mount here and should give a good account of himself.
