Sunday 10th April
April 10, 2016
On Thursday we headed to Chelmsford with the two runners. We started the evening off with GENERAL HAZARD who made a promising debut run at Kempton on his only start to date. Held up towards the rear he was in touch at the halfway stage. He was ridden two furlongs out and soon looked outpaced. It certainly was not a true run from the horse and we will see if anything comes to light to explain his performance. Later on the card DUCHY travelled well early on, but when asked for her effort she soon hung right and looked beaten. On this evidence you would certainly think that she needed the run.
We look like returning to the action on Wednesday when we could declare either BATTS ROCK or SCHOOL FETE at Beverley and then on Friday FABRICATE and TAUREAN STAR could head to Newbury.
On Saturday the horses worked Across the Flat.
