Yesterday we were delighted with the runs of both horses, but also a little bit dissapointed to have another two seconds. We started the afternoon off at Chelmsford with MY STRATEGY who was carrying a six pound penalty having won in decent style over course and distance six days earlier. He had every chance entering the last furlong, but could not get up to beat the eventual winner. We may have just come across quite a decent horse who has obviously improved for being gelded. Perhaps this race came, a little too soon for our horse, but it was a decent effort and hopefully he will be capable of scoring again soon. Later on the Lingfield card JAYEFF HEERING looked as though he was going to score his first victory when running on to the line, but he was just worn down by the eventual winner. Lulu Stanford did nothing wrong on only her fourth start and it would have been great to see her get her first win in the bag. He made a bold bid from the front and looked as though he was going to win. Hopefully we will be able to find another similar contest for him shortly.

Today we start the afternoon off at Lingfield with THEM AND US. We feel he is a nice prospect for this season and he has been working nicely at home. It looks a tough little race with the rest of the field either having won or been placed on their last starts. Hopefully he will give a good account of himself. Later on the card SAMPERA heads to Nottingham to take up her engagement. She looks to have wintered well and it would be great to see her put up a good display. This evening we head to Kempton where BIPARTISAN and CHASING RUBIES are looking to get off the mark. BIPARTISAN has pleased in her work and looks ready to start her 2015 campaign. CHASING RUBIES has been on the go over the winter and hopefully with the first time hood she can get herself off the mark
