On Monday we started the afternoon off at Wolverhampton where WINSTON C won his race in good style. Stepping back up in trip it seemed to really suit him and he bossed the race running out an emphatic winner. He looks to have started to find his form and will hopefully keep progressing.
Flying Sparkle
In the evening we headed to Windsor where FLYING SPARKLE was making her debut ridden by Hayley Turner. She jumped nicely from a good draw and gradually cruised to the front on the bridle. She was shaken up over a furlong out and found plenty when asked for her effort. It may not have been toughest of races, but she won in nice style and will hopefully develop into a nice filly.
Armagnac
We rounded the evening off at Windsor with ARMAGNAC. Steadied at the start, he was held up well in rear. Ridden over two furlongs out, he made some progress, but was never a threat.
Tonight we have declared COMPRISE at Kempton. He has won his only race to date on the all-weather and so at least we know he likes it. He has been in good form at home and hopefully he will run well here.
On Friday we head to Haydock with JE SUIS CHARLIE He only ran a week ago so hopefully the race will not have come too soon for him, but he looks in great form and it would be so nice after some consistent effort he could get his head in front.
