On Thursday we headed to Redcar with WONDER OF DUBAI. He took a keen hold at the start, but was soon settled tracking the leaders. Short of room, he was switched right and stayed on well towards the finish. He has finished runner up on both his starts now and hopefully we will be able to find another opportunity for him to go one better shortly.
On Friday we headed to Lingfield with THE RAVEN MASTER who was making his debut in handicap company. He seemed to appreciate the step up in trip and travelled well for the early part of the race. When asked for his effort, he stayed on well to finish third. It was a better effort from him and hopefully we will be able to win with him before the sales later in the month.
Yesterday it was great to see RONALD R get his head in front at Newmarket. Held up towards the rear, he was ridden to challenge over a furlong from home. He battled well inside the final furlong and kept sticking his neck out to hold on close home. We are thrilled with his run and hopefully he will keep progressing.
Tomorrow we start the day off at Stratford with INSTANT KARMA. He has been in fantastic form and hopefully will appreciate a return to the jumps. In the evening we head to Windsor where we start the evening off with HART STOPPER. He has been dropped back to six furlongs, which should hopefully suit him after failing to get home over seven furlongs on his last start. He has been working well and we expect a good run from him. Later on the card BABAMUNCHKIN takes her chance. She ran with plenty of promise first time out and then was slightly disappointing at Kempton on her second start. She looks to have done well for her winter break and hopefully she will perform well here.
On Tuesday ARABIAN JAZZ takes her chance at Leicester and hopefully she can redeem herself after her recent run at Chelmsford when she parted company with her rider Danny Brock on leaving the stalls. She worked nicely on Saturday in her work when ridden by Danny and hopefully things will go to plan this time. She is a sweet filly who may just be better over six furlongs.
Yesterday the horses worked on the watered gallop.
