Yesterday we headed to Yarmouth with the two declared runners. We started the afternoon off with FIRE BRIGADE who had been working nicely at home. He slight missed the break at the start and was rousted along early on. Her was asked for his effort and had every chance inside the final furlong. He kept on well, but was held towards the finish. It was a very good effort and we will see how he comes out of the race before making further plans. Later on the card COMPRISE was another to give a good account of himself. He travelled nicely through the early part of the race and was ridden over one furlong out. He battled on well inside the final furlong when asked for his effort, but could find no extra towards the finish.
Today the horses worked on the Cambridge Road.
