We were pleased with the effort shown by NOTALOT at Doncaster today. Stepped back up to seven furlongs, he tracked the leading pair. He made some headway and had every chance until well inside the last furlong. He has been raised in the ratings for his wins, but hopefully will be capable of getting his head in front again before the end of the season.
Tomorrow we head to Epsom with the two runners. AID TO AFRICA starts things off for us and he won well on his re-appearance at Chelmsford last time. He looks to have come on for the run and should hopefully give a good account of himself. Later on the card THE MAJOR takes his chance. He is desperately unlucky to still be a maiden and hopefully his turn will come sooner rather than later. He would not want the ground to dry up too much.
On Friday we head to Doncaster where we are hoping for a good run from FABRICATE. He is a horse with plenty of talent and we expect him to be competitive with Ryan Moore in the saddle. At Salisbury PEACE TELEGRAM is making his racecourse debut. He looks to be getting the hang of things now and although still a little green we expect him to keep improving with his racing. We round the day off with SHOW LEGEND who has ability, but is just failing to use it. He has the first time visor applied, which will hopefully be the key to opening the ability that we know he has. He has definitely not shown that so far this season.
