Wednesday 1st July
July 1, 2015
On Monday we headed to Pontefract with AUSSIE BERRY. He had been stepped up in trip on this his handicap debut. He looked in trouble from an early stage and something must have been a miss with him as this run is too bad to be true. We will see how he is or if anything comes to light before making further plans.
Today we start the afternoon off at Bath with PENANG PAPARAJAH. He certainly deserves to get a win by his name and hopefully he may just get his day. The horse of Sir Mark Prescott’s looks as though it could be tough to beat.
Tomorrow we start the day at Haydock with BAREFOOT DANCER. He has been very consistent without managing to get his head in front. Conditions appear to be in his favour and he did a really nice piece of work on Saturday on the watered gallop. In the evening we head to Epsom where MACHINE LEARNER is looking to build on his Sandown run where he raced with bags of encouragement to finish fourth. He looks to have improved for the run and hopefully he will be competitive. We round off the evening with BANDITRY who has swapped a hood for a visor. He seems to have found his form and we just need to get his head in front before the July Sales.
This morning the horses worked on the watered gallop
