On Monday we started the afternoon at Doncaster with SAMPERA. She raced in touch and was asked for her effort over three furlongs out. She was soon ridden along and weakened two furlongs out. She has certainly not progressed as expected after her first two runs and has been a bit disappointing. Later on the card it was another fantastic effort from GEORGE CINQ. He again found one too good which seems to be the case, but he is talented, genuine and hopefully can pick up a handicap for his owners soon. We rounded the afternoon off with ON THE HUH who after a decent couple of runs early on has had us scratching our heads. He was applied with a visor for the first time and this appeared to do the trick. He did not seem inconvenienced by the extra furlong on this his turf debut. He should be winning and could be tried over six again in the headgear. At Wolverhampton we started the afternoon off with CHASING RUBIES. She chased the leaders and was ridden over two furlongs out. She soon weakened and never got competitive. She does not look really in love with the game and could head for the July Sales now. We rounded the afternoon off with an encouraging effort from MOTION PICTURE at Wolverhampton making her racecourse debut. She kept plugging away after coming off the bridle and is bred to stay. She should come into her own when faced with a stiffer test than this.

We get back to the action tomorrow with runners at Newmarket. We start the evening off with BIPARTISAN who should appreciate the step up to a mile and a return to the turf. Later on the card THEM AND US goes into his race on the back of his Epsom win and should hopefully take all the beating.

On Friday we head to Newbury with GOLDEN HELLO making his racecourse debut. He has been doing nice pieces of work with ACADEMY HOUSE and should hopefully be in the mix. At Newmarket we start the afternoon with ROSECOMB making her racecourse debut. She is another who has been doing some nice work and we expect her to give a good account of herself. LE ROUQUIN heads into his contest on the back of his Goodwood third and he appears to be in great form of late. He has really progressed and should again prove competitive. We round the evening off at Hamilton with INSTANT KARMA who missed Ascot due to the drying ground. Hopefully it will prove the right decision and he will do himself justice.

Today the horses worked on the peat moss gallop
