On Wednesday we had declared CHASING RUBIES at Lingfield making her handicap debut. She was in touch in the rear when finding herself short of room and had to be snatched up five furlongs out. She was asked for her effort and was hampered again well over one furlong out. She had no chance with leaders, but passed beaten horses inside final furlong. She has not really been given a chance by the handicapper and hopefully we will be able to find a suitable opportunity for her shortly. It might mean stepping her up in trip as options appear limited.

On Thursday JAYEFF HERRING has been entered at Chelmsford. He appears to have come on for his run after being of the track for a while and hopefully he should be suited by this step up in trip which could be the key to him.
