Tuesday 10th February

We were delighted to finally get a win out of BORN TO REIGN who obliged on Wednesday. It was especially pleasing as his owner has been so patient with him. He was given a lovely ride by Joe Fanning who had him handy for most of the way. He left it late and reverting to a stiffer test helped as he was under the pump leaving the back straight. He managed to get up and get his head in front scoring a nice victory. He has gone for a nice break now and hopefully we have found the key to him in regards to trip  and he can go on and score again when he returns back from his break.

ONE MAN ARMY

On Thursday we lost four to the February Sales. It was especially sad to see HABESHIA and LEWAMY go as they have kept things interesting for us over the winter. They have won their races for us and hopefully they can go on and give new connections some fun.

NIBLAWI

We have had a quiet week so far, but return to the action tomorrow when Lulu Stanford has her first apprentice ride under rules. She has been a real grafter since she arrived and has made her way up through the pony racing route. She rides well and hopefully she can get a tune out of JAYEFF HERRING.

ACADEMY HOUSE

The horses have resumed cantering now and yesterday they went up Long Hill polytrack. It was a beautiful day and it was great to get some pictures of the horses.
