Firstly we hope that everyone has had a very happy Christmas and would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Things have started to get going again after the Christmas break and we have already had two runners this week. On Wednesday we headed to Lingfield with STRAIT OF MAGELLAN. He raced towards the rear of the field and was ridden at the five furlong maker. He weakened over two furlongs out and could find no more. He still looks slightly on the weak side to me and could benefit from being given a bit more time.

Yesterday ON THE HUH gave another disappointing display and he has got us all slightly miffed. He looks to be travelling well and when he is asked for his effort he does not appear to find anything. He certainly shows more than this at home and maybe the application of head gear may just do the trick. He has ability and we just need to get him to use it.

Today we have KEY TO YOUR HEART running at Wolverhampton. She was slightly unlucky on her last start and on the evidence of that run; if she reproduces it here she should hopefully be competitive.

We have entries next week, but at this stage I am not sure what they will be although we will definitely have runners.
