We were delighted with the run from BANDITRY at Thirsk on Monday. He was probably idling a bit after getting to the front easily enough and won just doing enough. We are hopeful that there will be more to come from him and we think he is a nice sort. In the evening at Windsor SALTWATER CREEK tracked the leaders after one furlong out and soon weakened. It was a disappointing effort as on her form you would have expected her to have a chance. Hopefully she can pick up another race shortly.

On Tuesday WHITE VIN JAN brought us up to the 31 winner mark for the season. She raced prominently in the middle of the course and was travelling particularly well into the lead with two furlongs remaining. She asserted her superiority, despite drifting to her right and heads to Hamilton on Friday.

This afternoon we head to Lingfield with ROCK OF LEON. He is deserves a change of fortune and hopefully he can finally get his head in front. Later in the evening GRAND MEISTER is hoping to make it two of two at Kempton. He looks to be thriving and it would be great to see this good looking horse get another win under his belt.

On Friday we start the day at York where WIGMORE HALL is hoping to go one better after his Newmarket run. He looks to have taken the race well and will be ridden by David Pipes conditional jockey Mikey Ennis who rode him in his work this morning. At Newmarket we have two nice two-year-olds making racecourse debuts. We start in the first division of the maiden with GRACELAND who has put in some promising work. Although she will possibly need the run we feel she has the makings of a nice horse. In the next division MIDAS HAZE takes her chance. She is another who will get better with some racecourse experience. At Hamilton WHITE VIN JAN is looking to keep her winning sequence going and on the evidence of her Leicester run she should be very competitive. At Newcastle we have declared INVOKE and she certainly deserves a change of fortune. She has been fairly consistent this year and hopefully we have found a race she can get her head in front.
