We were delighted with the run from GEORGE CINQ at Ascot yesterday. He was slowly away, but cruised into contention before staying on well to score his victory. He could escape a penalty if turned out at again at Sandown on Wednesday which at this stage certainly looks the plan. Later on the Chester card PIAZON raced towards the rear. He was ridden to take third over one furlong out. He kept on inside the final furlong, but was never able to challenge the front two.

Today we had our fourth winner of the week when SAVOY SHOWGIRL won at Ascot. She was held up in fifth and made some good progress on the outer over two furlongs out. She was ridden to lead just over one furlong out and stayed on well. She looked well suited by the step up to seven furlongs and should not have any trouble with a mile. Hopefully there is more to come from her. Later on the card RISKIT FORA BISKIT led the centre group to just over one furlong out and then weakened. SALTWATER CREEK had an easy time of it in front, but she was outpaced by the winner before staying on again. There should be more to come from her as she goes back up in distance. Our last runner was GALIZZI who appeared to get upset in preliminaries, took a keen hold, held up in the last trio. He was ridden and made no progress three furlongs out and was soon beaten.

On Monday we have declared WHITE VIN JAN at Lingfield. She looks to have come on for her racecourse debut and hopefully now we are hitting a bit of form she will give a good account of herself. Later on the card ROCK OF LEON is hoping to build on his recent second at Yarmouth. He seems to really appreciate the step up in trip and has the ability to win races. Our last runner is BORN TO REIGN and after having a short break hopefully he can bounce back to form.
