Wednesday 16th April

April 16, 2014

On Monday our only runner was AROUSAL who was declared a runner at Windsor. She raced very green early on and when asked for her effort, the response was not immediate. She looks as though she may just be better over six furlongs or a stiff five. She has taken the race well and is entered again at Yarmouth on Tuesday.

We have had no runners for the past couple of days, but return back to the action tomorrow with three runners at Newmarket. We start the afternoon off with TARANDO a nice two-year-old filly who is a half sister to HOYAM who was very successful for us. Later on the card WEDDING WISH is hoping to put in a good show in the maiden fillies race. She has put in some decent pieces of work and although it looks to be a hot contest we really do like our filly a lot. Our last runner is RAVEN RIDGE who certainly catches the eye on Warren Hill. He won his maiden at Newcastle well and we are hoping he will prove to be a nice horse. He has some fancy entries and hopefully he will run well enough to warrant them.

On Friday we have FASHION LINE making her reappearance on the racecourse. She is a real star and another win is certainly is her capabilities. She has not got a great draw, but she is gutsy and really tries her heart out. FINN CLASS heads to Musselburgh for their competitive handicap on the card. He has been in great form and certainly looks to have done really well from two to three. Hopefully with conditions in his favour he will be competitive and give Joe Doyle a good ride.
